What makes us different?

At our 20 week morphology scan we were shocked to be told that we were at high risk of preterm labour and there was a possibility we could lose our little girl. We were put on strict bed rest at 21 weeks.

It was a long road with no guarantees, but having an adjustable hospital bed at home contributed greatly to keeping our daughter safe not only to viability but full term.

We aim to provide the same opportunity to those with any condition.

What makes us different?

Based on our experience we have carefully selected a portable electric home care bed and mattress based on:

comfort, size & mobility
positions (Trendelenburg tilt)
adjustable height

In addition we offer out of hours and weekend delivery where possible

Pregnancy Conditions

Bed rest is a type of intervention that can be recommended by your medical professional for incompetent/short cervix, high blood pressure/preeclampsia, edema, bleeding, preterm labour and threatened miscarriage.

Included in the bed hire price is a guidance pack for those with pregnancy conditions. This includes bed rest tips, non-medical advice, expectations, partner information and detail of our experience.

Our online support via chat message enables you to ask any questions about our experience with bed rest and having a cervical stitch. Just talking to someone who has gone through the same or similar problem is a huge benefit.

All our beds can operate in the reverse Trendelenburg position which removes pressure on the cervix.

Not pregnant? Our beds can cater for any condition requiring bed rest in specific positions.
